In May, the Asyaport in Turkey saw the arrival of not just one, but two record-setting container vessels, in the form of MSC Tina and MSC Oscar. These vessels – 400m long and with a capacity of 19,224 containers (TEU) – became the largest ever to call a Turkish port, a testament to the growing importance of Asyaport as a transshipment hub. Here’s a handful of photos taken last week when MSC Oscar visited.
