The Latin American Congress of Ports (best known as AAPA LATINO)

The Latin American Congress of Ports (best known as AAPA LATINO) is the annual meeting of the Latin American port leadership par excellence, that -with 29 annual meetings- has been held in different locations and ports in the region such as Mérida (Mexico), Antigua (Guatemala), Valparaíso and Arica (Chile), Lima (Peru), Guayaquil and Manta (Ecuador), Bogotá and Cartagena (Colombia), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Punta del Este (Uruguay), Panamá (Panama) and Miami (United States), among others.

The 2022 edition will take place in Santos, Brazil, from November 28th to 30th, convened by the Latin American Delegation of the American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA) in strategic alliance with Santos Port Authority

Every year, more than 600 port leaders and international experts make this forum stand out as the most important business gathering of the industry. Three days of technical sessions serve to present and discuss major international port projects.

In addition to this, the event provides intense social and networking activities, a technical port visit and a prominent space destined to commercial displays, in which the most representative industry suppliers participate.

The detailed and updated program of lectures, has officials, experts, governmental authorities and senior executives as keynote speakers, who will address the trends and issues that are at the top of the agenda for the port & shipping industry.

OPENING CEREMONY

The opening ceremony will be attended by authorities of the American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA) & Santos Port Authority, and representatives of the Government of Brazil related to port activity.

Scenarios and predictions for shipping and ports: leading experts will analyse these geopolitical tensions and also the chances of recovery of the maritime markets and transport, presenting the current outlook and the prospects for the ports.
