ABS : CASE STUDY: APPROVAL-IN-PRINCIPLE FOR AUTONOMOUS TUGBOAT PDF

In 2021, ABS awarded Approval-in-Principle to technology in an autonomous tug project with ST Engineering, POSH, and M1 Limited. The project tested autonomous navigation, collision detection and collision avoidance technology for operations in the Port of Singapore in compliance with the ABS Guide for Autonomous and Remote-Control Functions.
