Abnormal Load Services (ALS) was chosen by Komatsu UK’s (KUK) senior management team as Indirect Supplier of the Year 2021 “due to the company’s performance over the past year and how they have supported Komatsu”.
Andrew Civil – ALS’ General Manager for High and Heavy attended the event, receiving the award for ALS. He stated “ I am honoured to accept this award on behalf of ALS, which is a huge credit to the team who have continued to work hard in such challenging times to support Komatsu”
Komatsu UK hold a supplier event each year. Around 80 international guests attended the event in June.
The supplier day covers Komatsu’s achievements over the past year whether that be physical improvements on site or cost savings.
Guests were split into two groups to undertake a factory tour and experience the demo deck, which gave suppliers the opportunity to try out some of the machines.
Komatsu UK Ltd. manufactures medium-size and large crawler excavators (18 to 70 tonnes) and working gear excavators.
