Bollorè Logistics Italy opens a new office in the Prato freight village
Tuscany is considered by the French logistics group a key region for its activities thanks to the presence of production excellence in the wine, textile, and automotive sectors as well as the pharmaceutical one.
Bolloré Logistics Italy has announced the opening of a new office in Prato, inside the Central Tuscany Freight Village where the company had ‘taken up residence for the first time in 2016.
Opened on 24 May last, the new headquarters will serve to strengthen activities in the pharmaceutical and fashion, and luxury sectors and “will allow the Florence branch to respond to vigorous growth and attract new employees”.
Born to manage industrial shipments and then also dedicated to the pharma sector with the launch of a hub, the branch of the Tuscan capital “has seen its presence grow on the national territory with the consolidation of dedicated personnel also in Milan and Rome.
It is now a pillar of our logistics network and a showcase for our expertise ”said its branch manager, Duccio Becagli.
“This office fits perfectly into our objectives which aim to grow our presence in the area and be closer to our customers by providing timely solutions to their needs” added Emiliano Rota, Front Office Manager of Bolloré Logistics Italia.

On the other hand, This highly anticipated industry event brought together investors, mining companies, representatives of various governments, and additional stakeholders from around the world in the context of the development of mining on the African continent.
The outstanding forum was marked by the presence of the President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, who addressed the participants on the second day, with a speech on investment in African mining.
A Bolloré Logistics team of around twenty experts in the sector, from the head office in France, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Burkina Faso, Mozambique, Côte d’Ivoire, Zambia, Australia, and South Africa were present.
Each member thus represented the Group’s commitment to players in the mining industry and its leading customers during this event, but also during a private event organized on the Mirage, a 76-foot luxury catamaran.
Bolloré Logistics is a key player in the mining supply chain and pursues its ambitions in this area in order to meet the current and future needs of investors in the sector.
