Cruising : Princess Cruises launches new Princess Promise
Princess Cruises introduced a new “Princess Promise” offering peace of mind during its cruise vacations.
Princess Promise reassures passengers that the company will ‘make it right’ for any onboard service that didn’t meet their expectations. That might include but is not limited to FCCs (future cruise credits), OBCs (onboard credits) or monetary refunds.
Expanding its Book with Confidence policy
Princess Cruises is also expanding its Book with Confidence policy now allowing travelers the flexibility to change their cruise plans 30 days before the day of departure, receiving cancellation fees as an FCC. The flexible booking option is available for any bookings made through March 2, 2021, on sailings departing through October 31, 2021.
The company offers Princess Vacation Protection that provides full vacation protection in the form of either an FCC or reimbursement of the normally non-refundable cruise cancellation fees, depending on the reason for the changed plans. The program covers passengers during the cruise, including lost/damaged luggage protection, emergency excess medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and trip interruption coverage providing a pro-rated refund in case illness interrupts the voyage and extra costs associated with cruise delays/interruptions.
The cruise line is currently enhancing its health & safety protocols with input from global health leaders in response to Coronavirus (COVID-19) and assessing how they might impact future itineraries.
