Product tanker ISFJORD suffered engine failure in the afternoon of Oct 4 off the western coast of Rivttek island, Harstad, Troms, while en route from Harstad to Bellsund. The tanker is assisted by nearby general cargo ship WESTLAND (IMO 8412857), to avoid drifting ashore. The tug has been called, to take the tanker on tow, though there’s a chance crew will fix the problem and restart the engine. As of 1430 UTC Oct 4, the situation didn’t change – tanker adrift or on tow of WESTLAND.
