Oman Shipping Company has concluded its series of Annual Fishermen Safety Campaigns in Muscat Governance. The 6th workshop was dedicated to Muscat Governance as the final station and it was held in Quriyat. Fishermen Safety Campaigns are one of the major OSC’s social investment programs that were introduced in 2014 to contribute to the welfare of fishing communities in the Sultanate socially and economically. For the last six years and jointly with the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, the campaigns covered 6 coastal governances in the sultanate where more than 600 registered fishermen were equipped with marine safety bags.
