IMO : The 2nd Symposium on low- and zero-carbon fuels for shipping online 21 October

The 2nd IMO Symposium on low- and zero-carbon fuels will take place at International Maritime Organization headquarters and online on Friday 21 October.

Speakers from around the world will discuss how to ensure a just and inclusive transition towards low-carbon shipping.

The symposium will focus on the challenges and opportunities that renewable fuel production represents in the context of shipping decarbonization, particularly for developing countries, and the need for enhanced cooperation at all levels to support this global transition.

The symposium will be open to all Member Governments, IGOs, NGOs and the general public. The provisional programme and information on registration will be issued in due course.
