Port of Koper is a public limited company, which provides port and logistics services in the only Slovenian port, Koper. It is situated in the northern part of the Adriatic Sea, connecting mainly markets of Central and Southeast Europe with the Mediterranean Sea and the Far East.
There are ambitious ongoing investment plans estimated at an amount up to 300 million EUR. The port is also a transit port, serving more than 70% of non-domestic hinterland markets and less than 30% of the Slovenian market. The port therefore really has a wider European role and value.
