Ports on the map of Indigenous Australia: Flinders Port Holdings
Flinders Port Holdings acknowledges the Kaurna Peoples of the Adelaide Plains, who are the Traditional Owners of the land and waterways on which Port Adelaide operates, and pays respect to Elders past, present, and emerging.
Flinders Ports Holdings has recently become a major sponsor of the Clontarf Foundation, supporting the education and employment of Aboriginal boys in communities across Australia, including locally in Port Adelaide, Port Lincoln, and Whyalla.
The Clontarf Foundation exists to improve the education, discipline, life skills, self-esteem, and employment prospects of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men and by doing so equips them to participate more meaningfully in society.
Flinders Port Holdings acknowledges the Wirangu people, who are the Traditional Owners of the land and waterways on which the Port of Thevenard operates, and pays respect to Elders past, present, and emerging.
In 2020, Flinders Ports Holdings established a Diversity and Inclusion Committee which will seek to further investigate Reconciliation planning and actions.
