Master Mariner Adam Weintrit, professor in maritime transport, is the first rector of the Maritime University in Gdynia for many years with practical experience in maritime transport and navigation. He is the author or co-author of several hundred scientific publications, including 18 books, 19 monographs.
Prestigious titles Fellow of The Royal Institute of Navigation and Fellow of the Nautical Institute prof. Weintrit received for an important contribution to the development of maritime navigation.
