Damen Shipyards Singapore was founded in 1990 and since 2000 has been a wholly-owned member of the Damen Shipyards Group. Damen Shipyards Singapore builds, repairs, and services Aluminium High-speed craft to the highest safety and quality levels. The building process used for series construction at the yard is unique in the shipbuilding industry and ensures an efficient, productive performance.
As well as series production, the yard also has the capacity to construct limited series vessels and one-off projects. In total between 15 – 25 vessels are delivered every year, each of which is constructed in aluminum. The Yard is building amongst other things the well-known, innovative Sea-Axe vessels, realizing building times of just ½ a year from keel laying to trials.
The yard is able to organize delivery, warranty, and training not just locally, but for the wider Asian region.
Using proven and reliable local suppliers and co-makers, Damen Shipyards Singapore is able to respond quickly to your needs. Every year some 100+ repair jobs are exected at the yard, ranging from hull cleaning to major overhaul and conversion.

DAMEN Shipyards Singapore Pte Ltd is closing. The last vessels have been finished and delivered. There are no ships being built by DAMEN in Singapore. The site at 29 Tuas Crescent, Singapore, is being reinstated starting on May 1st, 2021.
