Product tanker TROPIC BREEZE was hit in the stern area by mega-yacht UTOPIA IV at around 0300 UTC Dec 24 15 nm NNW of New Providence Island, Bahamas, while en route to Great Stirrup Cay with a cargo of LPG and fuel. The tanker sank at some 600 meters depth, crew rescued, all are safe. Yacht prior to collision sailed from New Providence southern anchorage, returned back to New Providence after a collision, understood she sustained some damages.
