The new Genoa – Stuttgart container train presented to the German shippers
As part of a series of activities undertaken to bring the system of companies in the logistics sector of the two countries closer together, Promos Italia and the Port System Authority of the Western Ligurian Sea announced that they had welcomed a delegation of representatives of the most important logistics companies from Baden Wuttemberg.
At Palazzo San Giorgio the president of the Ports of Genoa, Paolo Emilio Signorini, the councilor for Productive Activities and Ports, Andrea Benveduti, Massimo Giacchetta, director of Promos Italia, represented the peculiarities and the impressive development program in progress of the ports of Genoa, Savona and Vado Ligure together with the opportunities of logistic services that make the Ligurian hubs attractive also in terms of sustainability for freight traffic to the German market.
Also present were Giampaolo Botta for the association of Genoese Spediporto shippers, the top management of Assagenti (maritime agents and Genoese brokers) Paolo Pessina and the president of the terminal operator section of Confindustria Genova, Beppe Costa.

The German guests were given the opportunity to visit the docks of the port of Genoa from the sea (aboard a boat) and from land.
At the container terminal in Genova Prà, the PSA sales team presented the new railway service for container transport departing shortly between the port of the Ligurian capital and Stuttgart to shippers in Central Europe, as recently announced by the managing director Roberto Ferrari.
