“Mawani” obtains the qualification certificate from “EFQM”.
Saudi Ports “Mawani” announced that it had achieved a qualification certificate from the European Foundation for Quality Management “EFQM” as the first entity to obtain this classification in the transport system, after it was able to comply with the standards of the European Foundation for Quality Management model.
This comes within the framework of Mawani’s constant endeavor to govern its institutional performance and enhance efficiency, quality and effectiveness in the maritime sector and ports.
In a way that contributes to achieving excellence and developing the level of services provided to investors, beneficiaries and maritime agents, in line with the objectives of the National Strategy for Transport and Logistics Services.
The new model of the European Foundation for Quality Management “EFQM 2022″ is directly linked to the strategic objective of Mawani to boost governance and institutional excellence”, and helps in its course and content to achieve excellence and advance the authority’s work within a framework based on global expertise.
Obtaining the qualification certificate is a new achievement added to the list of certificates obtained by “Mawani” in the areas of excellence and quality to confirm its regional and global leadership, including the ISO 31000 and ISO 22301 certificates in the areas of risk management and business continuity, and ISO 12700. in information security, and ISO 9001 in quality and effectiveness management.
It is noteworthy that “Mawani” is considered the fourth government agency in the Kingdom that qualified to obtain the certificate from the European Foundation for Quality Management and Excellence.
