Vienna, Austria, 8 September 2021–The price of OPEC basket of thirteen crudes stood at $71.35 a barrel on Tuesday, compared with $71.30 the previous day, according to OPEC Secretariat calculations (view archives).
The OPEC Reference Basket of Crudes (ORB) is made up of the following: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Djeno (Congo), Zafiro (Equatorial Guinea), Rabi Light (Gabon), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela).
On another side, Brent Crude futures for November delivery were trading 0.03% higher at $71.71 a barrel on the London-based ICE Futures Europe Exchange.
Light Sweet Crude (WTI) October futures on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose by 0.22% to $68.5 a barrel.
Oil prices are slightly up after a recent decrease.
