Car carrier CO2 leak killed 3, injured 2 crew

In the evening of Sep 27 carbon dioxide leaked in the engine room of a car carrier SANG SHIN, berthed at Changtu Shipyard terminal in Daishan, Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province, China. The accident occurred reportedly, during a firefighting system inspection, and was caused by crew erroneous procedures. 3 crew died and 2 are treated in hospital. The ship arrived at Ningbo-Zhoushan on Sep 18, from Jordan.
