Introduction
The International Conference on Postgraduate Research in Maritime Technology will provide an opportunity for younger postgraduates to present and discuss their work, and to meet with other postgraduates world-wide from universities and industry in a conference environment.

Postgraduates students and postgraduates are invited to present their current and/or recent research in any field relating to the design, construction and maintenance of marine vessels and structures. Such research should be ongoing or completed within the past five years, and may be/have been the basis of their Doctorate thesis
The Conference will also provide an opportunity for other members of the maritime community to gain an insight into the latest research emanating from universities and industry.
Abstracts
Authors wishing to present their research at the Conference should submit an Abstract of between 250-500 words.
24 Abstracts have been accepted for presentation.
Extended Abstracts
Authors of accepted Abstracts will be invited to submit an Extended Abstract (2000-3000 words) for presentation at the Conference.




The Confederation of European Maritime Technology Societies (CEMT) is an independent confederation of 15 professional institutions (those involved in education and professional development) and learned societies (those facilitating the exchange of information) in the field of maritime technology.
