Explosion occurred on board of general cargo ship OCEAN HARMONY, berthed at Pier 1, Incheon Inner Harbor, at around 2240 Seoul time Sep 23. 42-year old Captain of Chinese nationality died in explosion, the rest of 14 crew left the ship, understood explosion was followed by fire. According to preliminary report, oxygen cylinder exploded.
The ship arrived at Incheon on Sep 22 from China. Ship’s AIS is on, she remains in the same position as of 1510 Seoul time Sep 24.
