Stena Drilling has announced that the Company has signed a new contract with ExxonMobil Canada Ltd for mobile offshore drilling unit (MODU) Stena North.

ExxonMobil said it is in the planning stages for an exploration program that would involve the drilling of a well offshore NL in the second half of 2022.
Stena Forth is a 6th Generation harsh environment dual-activity dynamically positioned (DP3) drillship, capable of drilling in water depths up to 10,000ft. The rig features several Stena Drilling upgrades including a split dual fluid system, a well centre transfer system for development drilling, and enhanced bed space.
