General cargo ship developed heavy list, tilt, after water ingress

General cargo ship SRIWIJAYA RAYA developed a heavy portside list and fore tilt in the morning of Dec 13 after leakage started in the fore section of the ship (tanks, cargo holds?) while sailing along the western coast of Bangka Island, Indonesia. The ship with a cargo of groceries is en route from Batam, Indonesia, Singapore Strait, to Jakarta. She had to anchor in emergence off Batu Betumpang, Bangka island. Last AIS dated Dec 12, present (1420 UTC Dec 13) condition and status of the ship unclear.

General Cargo SRIWIJAYA RAYA is currently located at INDO – Singapore Area at position 01° 10′ 49.5″ N, 103° 59′ 12.8″ E as reported by MarineTraffic Terrestrial Automatic Identification System on 2021-12-10 04:03 UTC (3 days, 16 hours ago)

The vessel departed from BATU AMPAR, ID on 2021-12-10 10:51 LT (UTC +7) and is currently sailing at 1.9 knots in the North direction
