Last week we identified an electrical issue on the engine of MSC Seaside. Despite our best efforts to fix the problem while the ship was at sea, we had no choice but to send the vessel to the shipyard in Palermo, Italy, on 11 July for necessary repair works.
And They announce that MSC Seaside has now arrived at the Fincantieri shipyard, where she will undergo all the necessary repairs required until 18 July. The shipyard has now confirmed that she will be ready on time to resume service and welcome guests onboard from 19 July, from the port of Palermo, which would have been the original port of call on her itinerary
