Chinese bulk carrier in trouble dangerously close to beach, Sydney, ( VIDEO + Photos )

Bulk carrier PORTLAND BAY caught in a storm, lost power, drifted, and managed to stop drifting after dropping anchor 0.5 nm off Garie Beach in the Royal National Park, south of Sydney, on the morning of Jul 4. The bulk carrier left Port Kembla around noon on Jul 3, the port of destination was unclear. Assisting distressed bulk carriers is probably impossible until the weather improves.
