In case you missed it, the largest container vessel to ever visit Patrick Terminals – Sydney AutoStrad arrived at the terminal last Sunday.
The CMA CGM Ural is the length of three consecutive football fields, as high as a 15-storey building, and nearly double the size of a standard container vessel with a carrying capacity of 10,662 TEU.
The three Liebherr Group cranes that serviced the vessel are 72 metres in height (approx. the height of a 23 storey building) and allow containers to be stacked 10 high on deck and 21 wide.
